Time passes

Ten years. Ago.

Only two months before the world would change, Darrell and I participated in a library grant project in the predominantly Muslim north of Nigeria. Along with two professors from Emporia State University, we visited three universities in Kano, Zaria, and Maiduguri.

Darrell set up internet labs with donated computers, while I trained library faculty and staff on email, online research, etc. We all delivered lectures on various topics. Mostly we spent our days in the lab and at our house, talking with anyone about, well, anything. "Anything" and librarians. Think about that for a few seconds. And drinking tea.

It was awesome.
